They're all done with sharpies, completely and totally sharpies. Except the white-that's a little paint pen thinger majig. Anyhow, onto the more serious side of things.

Is this ink/tattoos?

These are not tattoos, but I am working my way there. These are all done with sharpies, as stated before. They don't stay on more than a day, sometimes a day and a half. The ink comes off with soap and water fairly easily and must be applied on saven, smooth and clean skin.


How do you do it?

I draw, silly! Ok, really. I have some pen and pencil carbon copy paper. I draw over that and get a tansfer on the other side of the paper. Glycerine based deoderant is used via applying it to the skin and holding the carbon transfer against it, rubbing and holding it there. I'm still mastering this and figuring a way to make it work. Actual tattoo transfer paper is hella expensive and I'm not sure it would work. Sharpies are really similar to tattooing in the fashion I do it, but it is still no needle. The needle can work through vaseling, soap, and water. Markers...well, can't. So, I've been freehanding everything so far.


How long does it usually take?

Just like with regular tattoos, it varies. Larger, more details, more time. The dragon on a soda can? That took the duration of the movie Beetlejuice. Aloha Sunset? Half hour to forty-five minutes. Really depends on how I am feeling too, sometimes it just comes easier and goes faster.


Can I use these as flash?

Only if I get some form of credit, and payment. Please. You pay the tattoo artist, and people pay other people to use their flash-respect me enough to do the same? I DO sell art to tattoo artists, people and commission people online. I'm not oblivious that people steal anyway. I would appreciate some honest people though, so-just ask. I'm nice and I don't bite hard and I'm not stuck up my own arse. It may be cheaper than you expet [It sort of varies piece to piece. I'd want a little more for something that was harder/more complicated. Hehe.] i think that about covers it!
